The Political Science Department hosts an ongoing series of public lectures, given by faculty members and graduate students from the Department and by visiting speakers from academia and government. These events are sometimes co-sponsored with other departments or research centres on campus. All are welcome to attend and to offer their advice and criticisms. Members of the departmental community are encouraged to propose presentations on research or other scholarly work, whether finished or in-progress, and suggest potential visiting speakers. The proposal requirements, like the seminar series itself, is informal; just send an email, with a tentative title and a one-paragraph description of the proposed seminar's main argument or theme.
